Gay grew up in Ohio where she attended Miami University. She married her college sweetheart and moved to New Jersey to raise their two children. Gay began her real estate career with Coldwell Banker in New Jersey during the 1990s. She interrupted her successful career to return to the classroom as a Special Education teacher for more than 25 years. Company transfers took the family to Chicago, then California, and finally Arizona. During their moves, Gay bought and sold eleven different homes, maintaining her referral license with Coldwell Banker. Because of her extensive experience buying and selling homes, she truly relates to our clients and their unique needs. The qualities that helped her be a successful teacher are the same qualities that make her a successful Real Estate Broker: professionalism, patience, and perseverence. That drive for excellence is evident in her ethical standards and attention to the finite details in her transactions.
Now that Gay has moved to Souteastern North Carolina, she is fully immersed in Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage. She is an integral member of the successful Laura Plus Tony Residential Real Estate Team out of the Leland office. She has her finger on the pulse of the market here, whether it is first time buyers, new construction buyers, or retirees to one of our many golf or beach communities. When Gay is not following her passion as a broker, you might find her enjoying a round of golf or at the beach with her German Shepherd, Jack. Rest assured, you will be more than satisfied when you contact Gay for your Real Estate needs.
